About The Blog
A Blog appART is a Blog, apart from my other WordPress blog and WordPress-managed sites that I host at my own domains. The reason I’m hositng it at WordPress.com is simple. I’m running out of space on my own domains. Since this is going to be an image-heavy site, that was a big concern.
A Blog appART is a Blog of App Art. I purchased an iPad in November 2011 purely for functional purposes, but also got sidetracked by all the fun apps, many of which are capable of making wonderful generative art.
About Me
I have a BFA (Colorado State, 1984) and MFA (University of Wisconsin, 1993) in fine art with a painting concentration. I have been using Macs to make digital art since 1985. I hate hardcoding webpages and I do not program. The less geekier and more human technology is, the better for me.

This blog is great! The spiro doodles and spirograph remind me of my doodles when I was younger. I mostly doodle by hand now, but will definitely check out the apps now.
