Wow, this is a pretty baffling program. It has a way to make videos of mutating particle-based spiral forms, but I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. I did take some screenshots though. Reminds me a bit of some effects from KPT’s Spheroid Designer and later KPT Scatter.
Update. I figured out how to make the videos. Sort of. This is a very powerful app, and it will take lots of practice on my part. For now, I have uploaded some very basic spiral videos that I created with it:
Hi,
I’m Mal (aka James) of eOe, the developer of Spiralocity. I’m delighted to see what you’re doing with the app! You’ve got some very intriguing designs here. If you have any questions or would like some tips about the use of the app, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll keep an eye on this space if you’d like to follow-up.
BTW, I love your web site. Great concept and implementation!
Cheers,
Mal
Thanks Mal! I love Spiralocity and am still getting the hang of it. Thank you for creating it!
Ann,
Creating it was a pleasure–both fun and satisfying. I happen to enjoy using it too! 😛
BTW, I’ve created some Spiralocity “shorts” at our YouTube channel. Very brief animations made with Spiralocity, uploaded directly from the Camera Roll on my iPad. If you’re interested, have a look here:
